Nothing beats the rush of a job in the middle of the night, especially when it’s saving people from a burning building. That’s why the job and life of a firefighter are quite unpredictable. They are summoned to duty regardless of time, meaning whenever an unpredicted fire accident happens.

Like many other occupations, firefighting has its own sets of duties and responsibilities. Firefighter’s duties are unpredictable; they are called out to extinguish the fire in a burning building or home. They have to tend to injured victims and save them by putting their lives at risk. A firefighter even has to wake up in the middle of the night and put on his uniform or a firefighter t-shirt if he is called upon.

The fire is often symbolized as fire. So, can you imagine what extent of danger firefighters have to encounter? But they have to anyway. Because it’s their job and it’s their responsibility to save lives of people and properties by playing with fire.

The primary duties of Firefighters are-

1) Extinguishing fires of a sudden combustion in building and saving people and properties in it.

2) Driving fire trucks and other danger related emergency vehicles.

3) Treating sick and injured people on the spot.

4) Cleaning and maintaining the area.

5) While treating sick injured people, preparing written reports on emergency incidents.

6) Parting education and knowledge to the people about emergency fire situations and how to escape from it.

In every job, there are pros and cons. Similarly, the firefighting job has its own pros and cons. Firefighters can stay stress-free when nothing tragic accident happens. They only need to tend to a few official works. And if you look at their paycheck and the overall job outlook, it’s the job that you will crave to have. With a ransom paycheck and other general benefit plans, it’s a good career choice for all qualified candidates.

The chosen candidates are allowed to enjoy all the job benefits. Since firefighting is an essential service, they are given extra benefits in the form of lucrative salaries and other allowances. Moreover, because of the necessity of the workforce, every year many firefighters are recruited.

Apparently, a firefighter can retire after 25 years of service. So basically a firefighter has the option of retiring early in life. This eventually provides an opportunity to enter into another service. So, if you look round the entire job outlook of a firefighter, this job offers an early retirement with pension, a significant amount of time off along with a ransom salary. Therefore, firefighting is an interesting and selfless job that anyone could have ever asked for. Firefighter veterans can enjoy their retirement pensions by engaging themselves in another job at the same time.
